STC Fasteners - External Sales Representative

Full Time

Monday to Thursday - 8:30am till 5pm
Friday - 8:30am till 4:30pm


20 days per year, plus statutory Bank Holidays


Salary: TBA 

About the Role

  • This job position is based in Washington, Tyne & Wear, North East UK

  • Proactively speak to customers on a daily basis.

  • Book face-to-face meetings with customers.

  • Supporting the relevant internal sales representative by developing and maintaining relationships with personnel at all levels.

  • Be a main point of contact to ensure a smooth process for customers.

  • Represent the company to the customer in a professional and efficient manner through effective account management techniques, telephone and email contact.

  • Ensure the timely delivery of sales proposals/quotes and solutions to meet customer needs and objectives.

  • Attend meetings as and when required including and not limited to; weekly and quarterly sales team, operations and tender meetings. Must be flexible within the role.

  • A company car and mobile come with the position.


  • Previous fastener sales/knowledge.

  • (Advantage, not essential)

  • Full Driving License.

  • Must be able to work as part of a team in a busy environment.

  • Highly organised, conscientious and keen to deliver a high level of Customer Service.

  • Self-motivated with good attention to detail.

  • Flexibility and willingness to work hard.

  • Reliable with the desire to exceed expectations.

  • Legal right to work in the UK.
